I can't say enough about the outstanding service and quick turnaround of manufacturing and installing our custom Plantation Shutters.

The window measurements, manufacturing and installation was all completed within a week for the entire house which was just incredible.

The trim work/border and ledge on the shutters added so much to the overall look to the windows and rooms.

Faruk the owner of Liberty Shutters is very involved and his team did a wonderful job on the installation and follow-up.

Liberty came to our house and installed plantation shutters on 5 of our upstairs windows in 2021.  I had the downstairs windows installed by a different company, that did not live up to their promises, as related to their sales and warranty practices.  We have had issues with their products (as a result of installation).
They never took responsibility for the faults and failed to perform call-backs or minimal customer service once the payments were made.  They had painted a poor picture of the independent shutter company in our estimation.  As a result we chose to not employ them for the upstairs.

I am happy to relate that Liberty is a much more customer centric company.  The initial measure was performed by the sales person, and rechecked by the installer prior to production and installation.  They were able to offer us more custom options (like sill trim) because they produce all of their pieces (vs. importing fabricated pieces from China).

We had to call Liberty, about a year ago, to perform some warranty work on some broken louvres, on one of the windows.  They were responsive in communications with us, quick to schedule, and accommodating to our schedule.   Unfortunately, the installer that had done the work, did not leave the panels better than he found them.  Although I was less than satisfied with the work, they were repaired.  The "repair" lasted about 1 year before we started having louvres break in the same window.

About 1 month ago, I placed another call to Liberty to inform them of the issues.  I was skeptical of their warranty commitment but figured I would give them a shot.  I ended getting helped by Javier, who seemed to make it a personal thing to make sure we were taken care of and that we were satisfied.  Javier made sure to get their installer, Phil, to attend to our issues.

Today, Phil came to the house earlier than expected, despite coming from Pt. St. Lucie (an hour away).  He repaired the 2 broken louvres on the 1 window, adjusted the panels on the same window to make them easier to open and close, as well as modified ALL of the other panels throughout the upstairs, to reduce the tension on the louvres (we chose the rear close option).  This simple fix actually ended up being more aesthetically pleasing than the original design, as well as being a significant improvement in functionality.  Phil was more efficient than I expected and was actually done (in about an hour) before I got home.  He explained what was done, and how to continue to maintain the shutters better.

I am grateful to have found Liberty as they have lived up to their commitments.  I recommended Liberty to my next door neighbor about 3 months after we got ours installed initially.  I would highly recommend Liberty over any other shutter company.  I am exceedingly please with the quality of the shutters (fabrication, materials, options, and installation).  Also, the prices.... not the most important factor, but still significant... were much better than reasonable (in comparison to other suppliers; some big name, some not). Initially I was just going to do plantation shutters in a large front window. I called around for pricing which was similar in most of the places I called. I like that these are made locally so it’s who I went with. I was so pleased with the product that I decided to do the rest of the windows after the initial install. They actually were finished sooner than the date I was quoted and the install was quick and painless. The product appears to be of good quality and they look great. I love my new plantation shutters!  Liberty shutters delivered exactly what I wanted, which is the point of custom made shutters. The price was right, too. Phil was great installing-- quick, clean, working with me to get the shutters installed fast, and respectful of my time.
